I have regular business trips to Munich, Germany. Although it hasn’t got the nicest local food, I really like the feeling of the city. This is where the old money is. The city’s very nice and clean.

In Germany, cities like Berlin and Munich’s very cosmopolitan which means you can get International food such as pizza, asians, indians, etc. I’m not a big meat and sausage eater but when you’re in Germany, you have to try their curry wurst (curry sausage). German food tend to be heavy. They also have this weird texture potato dumpling

Of course other than food, Munich is a host to Oktoberfest where you can drinks massive pints of beer served by blondesĀ  at the end of October :). Again, I’m not big on beer either but it’s definitively beer heaven. Popular place to drink is German Beer Garden and pub such as Hofbrauhaus thus skip heading to Hard Rock Cafe!!

The heart of the city is the Marienplatz (St Mary’s square). In there you can visit Viktualienmarkt food market where you can pick up some food, grab your beer and then enjoy it at the English Garden.
