Berlin has some of the most interesting young and edgy up & coming designers. Their creativity flows thanks to city being cosmopolitan. I enjoyed browsing through fashion boutiques hidden at Hackesche Hofe. It has lots of hidden alleyways and interesting boutiques from local designers. The place also hosts lots of cafes, bars and restaurants which you can enjoy day and night after a hard days shopping.

In the same shopping precinct (Hackesche Hoff), I also visited the Ampleman shop where you can get Ampleman memorabillias. Ampleman’s the traffic light man and is known to be the local celebrity and city’s icon. It’s used in the past and still exist till this day in East Berlin to educate children on when it is safe to cross the street. I caught a train to Hackescher Markt stop and just walk 2 minutes from there.
