Year 1896 marks a new political era for Hungary. Local Hungarian Imre Steindl designed this 268 meters long, 123m wide & 90m high Parliament House which was inspired by Westminster Palace in London. It is located at the Pest side of Budapest.

The Parliament building can be seen anywhere in Budapest thus a very famous and popular landmark. It is decorated in gothic style and the outer side is surrounded by Hungarian Monarchs and Military commander statues. You can take a tour inside by joining an organised tour only.
