Cakes at Cafe Lukas

Hidden along nice apartment buildings at World Heritage Anderson Boulevard at Budapest, at number 70, I found a really nice cafe to unwind and rest after my visit at Heroes Square and House of Terror (Although I’d recommend you to visit the cafe before the House of Terror).

Cafe Lukas has been established since 1918 which marked the end of communism. I notice most hotels (e.g. Gellert Hotel), business, shops and cafes were established around 1918-1919. Cafe Lukas decor was very interesting, it has chandeliers, french style furnitures, high ceilinings. The place is great place to have a peaceful break, read morning newspaper and have coffee. They serve selections of teas/coffees, nice cakes/pastries, lunch menus (salads, etc), milkshakes, and tasty home-made ice cream with unique and classic flavours.
