I just re-watched UFC 94, the match between GSP (Georges St-Pierre) and BJ Penn. How ironic is it that the match ended with BJ quitting. BJ spent the entire Primtime pre fight show telling the world how GSP is a quitter. Poetic justice I say.

While BJ Penn spent the entire show smack talking GSP, GSP was training harder than ever, against fighters bigger/heavier than himself. GSP said his training had to be so hard that the upcoming match with BJ Penn can not possibly be harder.

GSP trainer said that winning wasn’t enough. He stated that GSP had to destroy Penn, had to finish him off, had to  make hime regret he ever came up to 170 weight division! And that he did, how SWEET!! Nothing can be sweeter (although Federer beating Nadal would come close), especially when GSP spent a good 3.5 minutes punching Penn’s big fat head.

What made it worst for Penn was that he wasn’t able to quit himself and had to get his brother to do it. Shame!

Lessons Learnt for Kitty Cat Penn:

• Action speaks louder than talk
• You should’ve stayed where you were (light weight division) and shouldn’t be so cocky.
• Spend your time training instead of verbally abuse your opponent
• Train harder again instead of going on vacation
• Be a real man instead of a ‘pussy cat’. Don’t get others to do your dirty work (asking your bro to quit for you).
• Be a good sports and congratulate your opponent

You’ve been put back to where you belong. I love you GSP!!!.

FYI – GSP’s next match is against Thiago Alves. A fighter who is bigger and perhaps stronger than him. I’m worried for him but I have faith GSP will once again train hard for yet another win
