Look at how many red pockets I got this year. YAH!
2009 is the year of Ox
I really love Chinese New Year. Its so close to Christmas and New Years, its like celebrating new years twice. Chinese New Year is really all about two things, food & family, not too dissimilar too the westerner’s new year but when I say family I mean, your entire families, parents, uncles, aunties, cousins, etc etc.
Usually on the same week, on the Sunday, there is a massive festival in China Town, right in the heart of Melbourne. Be prepared for non stop fireworks, plenty of street foods and a massive s crowd.

No Parade would be complete without John So (ex Melbourne City Lord Mayor)

A quick overall predictions for each chinese horoscope in the year of Ox:
- Rat - this year is good for wealth, put more tolerance in relationship
- Ox – Lots of obstacles since this is your year. May get married, change job or travel.
- Tiger – Good for health, wealth and luck
- Rabbit – Luck will goes up and down
- Dragon – a very smooth year which everything will be in your favour
- Snake – this is not your lucky year and you may experience a rough time
- Horse – this year will be better than last year but it’s still not the best year. Take time and be cautious with everything you do.
- Goat – stay low this year, be careful with petty people
- Monkey – certainly a good year where every matters will be smooth and things are happening
- Rooster – will be lucky in wealth
- Dog – a lucky year
- Pig - although there’re many unlucky stars, there’re still few lucky ones that may help you
So what does the prediction means to me – absolutely nothing as I’m always a goodie goodie
