My job’s as stable as ever, even got 2-3 headhunters on my back. I’m still out and about doing my usual things including shopping :)!

I quite like Rosemin (Designer from Melbourne, Australia) but never actually own a piece of her clothes. Today, I decided to actually try on some of her clothes and the old saying ‘you should try it on before you buy’ certainly holds true! Some clothes look nice in the hanger but when you put them on, they’re just ok and vice versa.

Rosemin dresses looks nice on the hanger and even better when you try them on :P

I ended up buying 4 dresses (one I had to get altered), 1 skirt, 2 pairs of shoes and 1 t-shirt (which was thrown in free). Not bad for an hour shopping huh :)?

How can I afford all those one may asked? Well, it’s all about taken advantage of the current economic climate. You usually have to pay the full tag price however I haggled good. I managed to get discounts ranging from 8%-17% on some of the full priced items and even got a free t-shirt thrown in free.

Now I just need to wait for the invitations to go out and wear them all :)!!

So who wants to take me out????

Looks very lovely on you. And good for you for haggling the rice down. A nearly lost art, haggling.

Uh, that should be “price,” not “rice.” :(

You are right JD. As I am from Asia (now an aussie citizen) haggling comes naturally :) Here is a great article I was reading today http://blogs.theage.com.au/travel/archives/2009/02/the_backpackers_guide_to_haggling.html
