Clothes and model from APC

Ok, these are clothes and models from my favourite french clothing brand APC where I shop regularly online. I love the women clothes as well as the men. APC models are my type of guys – they are cute, dress well, thin and quirky and nerdish like.

The picture above on the far right is very nice – simple casual jacket, nice black t-shirt with a bit of personality (The Gold Belt)! The one in the middle, I like the fact that he wears colour (Red) with stripes and the quirkiness is his nike shoes. The one on the far left with simple blue sport jacket, shirt and sweater looks simply stylish. Some people may think they look is a little ‘too gay’ for them. Well, you are wrong mate! You simply have no taste! These looks are stylist and modern. Seriously which era are you living in at the moment. Do you still follow the old trend of blue shirt (boring zzz…) or pink shirt (sooo 1990s).

I also adore the picture below very much, the clothing and the guy ;p. I think he’s really cute and stylish.

First, the grey suit and checked shirt. This is what young professional should look like. Well for work, you probably need a business shirt and tie but this can work for casual friday (in a very conservative workplace). I love the checked shirt and the red belt which adds personality. I also like the boat shoes on the middle and far right look. They look perfect on a coat or just with t-shirt.

So guys what are you waiting for? Go get yourselves new clothes. Guarantee you’ll get my VOTE!

hi! i really like your style. can you please give me advice on some good winter clothing for school?

Hi, Glad that you like my style.

I assume you’re asking for advice on guy’s winter clothing for school. If I were a guy, I will have the following basic pieces for school in winter. A white shirt, a pair of straight leg jeans, a cashmere jumper (or similar), a dressed pants, a bomber jacket, a nice coat and scarf.

For a white shirt (can be any subtle block colour shirt), this can be worn with both your jeans and your dressed pants. You can also wear it underneath your cashmere jumper :) . Instantly you have 3 outfits out of a white shirt.

A cashmere jumper/sweater, I would recommend the following colours – baby blue, black or grey. For more adventorous go with dark purple which looks great on any skin colour. Alternatively, if you are open to the idea of a cardigan with simple classic cut (dont get confused wiht grandpa cut), you can add this to your wardrobe along with your basic jumper.

A bomber jacket – this does not really have to be a bomber style. This is your casual jacket that you can wear under wet winter weather but still comfortably keeps you warm.

A coat – for more formal look, invest in a straight classic cut coat in either black, charcoal or grey. This can also be in trench style, however, it has to be made from material which will keep you warm – woolen/cashmere fabric. Depending on how cold winter can be in your country, you can wear a long style or a waist cut (which stops at your waist). If you are tall, I’d recommend a 3/4 length coat (looks really nice on tall men :-) ).

Straight leg jeans – for winter I like them to be darker colour like dark navy. I really like skinny leg jeans for men but for non-adventerous, I would recommend a straight leg.

Dressed pants – to look presentable and more formal, invest in woolen dressed pants (preferably in black or charcoal colour) because these colour are very versatile.

A scarf is where you can show your personality and at the same time keep you warm. If your coat is grey/black/charcoal, your dressed pants are black..and your jumper is grey…make sure you wear a colorful scarf or whichever pattern and colour you like.

Happy dressing up :) – do all those layering!!

hi mei lin, could u advise me how to dress for tan and thin man?

  11. Mai said on July 3rd, 2011 at 1:05 pm

A thin man can get away wearing many things. Depending on your style, I like minimalism and streamlined style. Thinking of brands such as Calvin Klein, APC, COS, Zara. Having tanned skin, you can get away playing with lots of colours as difficult colours such as neutral light pallete can often wash pale skin :) . Any light neutrals, bright and non dark colours are fine. x Mai
