Mai in front of Stonehenge in England

Passing through highways and quaint English villages, It took me almost 2 hours to drive from central London to visit Stonehenge in England. Stonehenge is a rock formations circle which was believed to have been assembled 5000 years ago. No one knows exactly what these rock formations were used for. Most people think it is a pilgrim site which I incline to believe because as I visited the place, it gave me a spooky feeling.

I walked around the circle early in the morning to avoid the tourist and there was something magical about this stone formations. I wish I had more time to spend so I could spend whole day photographing it during sunrise and sunset. What fascinated me about Stonehenge is that how early people were able to lift these stones 5000 years ago. Having said that, the same fascinations can be applied to Pyramid of Giza in Egypt. Despite it being just a bunch of rocks on top of each other forming a circle, I really enjoyed visiting Stonehenge.
