This year I have visited Perth more than I’ve visited my hairdresser :) . I usually travel by myself or with a colleague or two. If I happen to travel with my boss(es), then we either stay/hang out near the water or the golf club (one of my bosses is a sailor thus loves water, the other is a golfer).

Other than hanging around in Perth city, my boss who loves water, decided to organise a boat trip to Fremantle just before sunset to have dinner there. It was nice of him to take the initiative and organise it himself instead of asking one of us :) . We caught a boat from Perth city to Fremantle which took about 1 hour or so. It was such a lovely day and the boat was empty. So, we all sat outside and enjoyed the cruise with a drink or two. Once we landed, we settled at Little Creatures Brewery to have champagnes.

I really like my ‘sailor’ boss as we have similar tastes in beverages. He enjoys champagne/sparkling wines and white wines prior to dinner or pinot noirs during lunch ocassionally instead of white wines, then have a heavy red for dinner. Most of my colleagues prefer to drink beer instead of champagnes/sparkling wine to get started.
