Mai with Cesky Krumlov town in the background

After arriving in Prague (Praha) as part of my Eastern Europe trip, I  decided to do a day trip by joining a local tour company by mini bus. You  can approach them in the main Prague town square or your local hotel. The town that I was keen to visit was Cesky Krumlov which is a medieval town. Other than visiting the Cesky Krumlov Castle, I went around the town itself. It’s a very beautiful town with interesting architectures, sun dial clocks, quaint feelings, beautiful colour, cobbled stone, cute squares, a gothic church, the list is endless….

Cesky Krumlov is a small cute town and I find it a very romantic place to be. The town itself is very walkable.  My travel mate and I decided to have an Eastern European style lunch as can be seen in photos below. We also managed to sample in local snacks - cinammon crispy warm hollow log bread. Crispy on the outside and soft inside with sprinkles of cinammon sugar. YUM! So make sure next time you visit Prague to not miss visiting Cesky Krumlov.
