Mai at Cafe Brunetti - Easy Sunday Morning
One of the great things about Melbourne is our great coffee culture. Since coming back from Italy I have been obsessed with coffee. My current favourite Italian cafe is Brunetti. Brunetti specialises in Italian cakes and coffee.
I always try to go to the one in the city in front of the Melbourne Westin Hotel (Off Swanston Street) but ocassionally when I’m in Lygon Street (Melbourne’s Italian Head Quarter), I visit the Lygon street store. The cakes are a little bit dearer than your average but you certainly get what you pay for
and believe me its worth every cent and crumbs!

Brunettis is definitely one of those indulgent pastimes! The Carlton store is actually located in Faraday Street and it can be a long wait finding empty seats in the evenings. One trick with the coffees (@Faraday) is to order them where you buy your cakes, that way you don’t need to queue up twice — just collect them at the bottom of the ramp.
