Fashion Confessions
1 Comment September 17, 2009 / Posted in Fashion & ShoppingI was reading Australian Vogue Forum and came across this wonderful posting thread – Fashion Confessions. Here are some which some of you and myself can relate
– Simply Hillarious
- I used to buy clothes that are not in my size hoping to one day become thinner and fit on them
- If I like something I will buy it in more than one colour
- I hate getting rid of clothes because I find as soon as I do, I suddenly want to wear it again
- This year alone I have spent an obscene amount of money on designer dresses that I calculate would buy me a new (non european) car, sad but true
- I move jobs often to get a better paid salary to feed my shopping addictions – so far so good
- I will forgo a night out or live on vegemite sandwiches just to have a deposit on a layby or buy something I love. Sad I know
- I pay bills late so I can buy fashion items
- I have developed a bad habit of buying things impulsively, because the times i liked something and decided to be sensible and “think over it for a week”, I’d go back to the store and it would be gone!! Then I would throw a mental tantrum for about a week and snap at just about everything.
- often promise myself clothing as a reward for achieving a work or uni goal. I dont meet my goal but buy the item anyway.
- Ok and recently I purchased a $400 dress that was a size too small and then purchased a $300 handmade corset to wear underneath it so it would actually do up
- The Australia Post parcel guy comes to my house just about EVERY day but I am not embarrassed and we are on first name terms.
- I can easily justify a $700 dress, but I’m I don’t like paying over $50 for a hair cut.
- Im considering cancelling my private health insurance so i can buy more clothes
- I submitted my university assignment late because I spent too much time browsing/shopping online
