What’s Important In Life?

What's important in Mai's life?
I was reading a friend’s blog and he posed the question – “What’s important in life? Family, friends, football, money, love, health?”
I guess the answer will depend on what stage you are in your life. For example, 10 years ago I wouldn’t rate health as highly as I do now. I guess most teens are fearless at that age. For them perhaps money is more important, which I would rate a little lower at this point in my life.
Ok, so in order of importance:
- Health, Not that I’m sick or anything but I’m at an age where I frequently know someone who is dying from cancer, in a car accident, or just not in a good state of mine. This year alone I know of 4 people who have died of cancer and 2 people who was hit by a car, one is ok now but the other is a paraplegic. Life is fleeting, we’re not invincible, even though we feel we are sometimes.
- Football!! Football makes life exciting, it rejuvenates you, it relates you with your inner self (passions, love, etc) and connects you with other people whether that be your friends, colleagues or complete strangers. (ok so this is a joke, but sometimes I think it deserves to be there like for perhaps once a year
- Family and Friends. Well no point in Collingwood winning the AFL final and not having anyone to share it with ;P
- Love. hmmmm
- Money – Ok I’m not saying that Im rich but when you have it you’ll realise that it really doesn’t make that much of a difference.
What’s important in your life? You tell me
! I would love to know what you others think!

Yep, football definitely covers it. Cant do without it in Melbourne, whether it be AFL, Rugby League, Soccer, we’re the sporting capital =) One can do without friends, money, love (hmmm?) but it would be one miserable place to live without sports. Go Geelong! Go Melbourne Storms! Go Melbourne Victory! Woot!
