Ngorongoro crater at East Africa is a 20km wide crater. The crater is rich with African wildlife trapped by crater walls. It is the home to a very rare breed of Black or hook-lipped Rhinoceros. This black rhino is different from the White rhinos which you can find in South Africa and any other part of Africas.White rhinos are extinct in East Africa. Black rhinos are smaller than White rhinos and are more unpredictable and prone to charging. Black rhino’s nose is also different from White rhino’s. Black rhinos feed on branches and foliages while white rhinos graze on ground grass. Black rhinos are very solitary and territorial. The best place to see black rhinos are in Ngorongoro Crater. It is very rare to spot one but I was SOOO LUCKY to see couple of them (a mother and its cub) .

The best is yet to come. Not just being able to see a mother and her cub, I was able to see a zebra which was crazy enough to ran towards the rhinos direction. This automatically triggered the black rhino mother to charge at the zebra. It was a close call as the zebra bolted to escape something which may end its life. It is better than any wildlife televison shows I have ever watched.You cannot even compare it!!! You can only experience this i an Africa Safari. Everyday is different as you will never know what’s just around the corner .

It was a close call as the zebra escaped the attack of Black Rhino. It happened so fast, I felt my adrenalin while being able to witness this amazing wild life scene

All I could see at the end were dusts lots of them!
