Mai with John Harvard Statue
While I was in Boston, one of my mates who live in Cambridge took me to hang out there. You can take train from Boston city to Cambridge. There are lots of restaurants and bars. I managed to watch a couple of bands and went to one of the many nightclubs. The main square of Cambridge is the Harvard square where you can see public chess match in actions.
Cambridge is also a home for 2 best universities – MIT and Harvard. I visited the later. The university complex is like your typical university areas. One thing that many tourist including myself had on our to-do list was to touch the left foot of John Harvard’s statue. I have been told that this brings good luck.
A word of caution though, in Boston they have a curfew in terms of serving and selling alcohol and the curfew is quite early – ranging from 10:30pm till 11pm, so make sure you check your local area to make sure you stock up enough alcohol for the night because you will not find any alcohol on sale in public area:).
