Iphone Apps: All Recipes
Allrecipes.com is a great site with a repertoire of recipes that stretch till the dawn of time, to all the corners of the globe and from households of unlimited diversity. An application with recipes? Big deal I hear you say. Well, that’s what I thought when it was first bought to my attention. But from a someone who loves home made cooking (not the act of cooking itself), this kind of application is extremely useful.
The spinner feature looks great, is great to use and returns an impressive and relevant array of recipes from allrecipes.com themselves.
For Example:
Hmmm what do I feel like tonight, it’s a bit wintery here today so how’s about a nice soothing soup! I definitely want chicken in it and happy for it to be ready in an hour or less. Hey Presto! 21 delicious matches complete with ratings, reviews and pictures.
African Chicken Stew sounds good; I’ll add that to my favourites. Of course, if I want to look for specific dishes there is the traditional search function and featured recipes for some random inspiration.
Maybe even with my enthusiasm you’re probably still thinking, big deal, some recipes. But for those of you who are always asking the age old question “What am I going to eat tonight?” You’ll always have a great answer in this app which usability means it trumps the original all recipes site.
