My Top 5 Iphone Apps
1 Comment April 12, 2010 / Posted in UncategorizedThe IPhone, without a doubt a must have device for millions of people around the world and you can add me to this rapidly growing list. It’s true. Once you have your iPhone, its hard to imagine your life without one. Ask an iPhone owner what they would do if there phone was stolen. Answer. Get a new one.
What makes the iPhone so great? You can actually pick up one of many fakes in China, but they’re not quite right. The reason why they’re not quite right and the iPhone excels is not so much the hardware, but the operating system and the Apps (applications).
iPhone applications are like the programs on a computer, they are what make the device usable. On the iPhone, applications are available from the app store which currently has more the 100,000! This is phenomenal. So in effect, when you buy an iPhone, you have yourself a platform for thousands of applications designed to improve your life. The applications in the app. Store are categorised appropriately depending on what they relate to from entertainment and games to healthcare and finance.
Many of these applications are for free whilst many cost a few dollars. They can get quite expensive such as some of the satellite navigation apps. You can quickly and easily download applications to your dashboard (equivalent to a desktop on a computer) and once you realise an application has lost your interest, you simply delete it to make space for others.
What are my favourite applications? Well, the best way to judge that is to look at the applications which I refuse to delete and stand the test of time, inevitably making their way onto the first page of my dashboard. Let’s take a look at my top 5!
