Ito Japanese Noodle Cafe (Ph: 03 9663 2788)
122 Bourke St, Melbourne – VIC 3000

Ito Japanese Restaurant is famous for its Ramen (Japanese yellow noodle on a broth). In the past, I used to slurp on their Tori Kara Ramen (Crispy marinated chicken pieces served with Noodle on a clear tasty broth). However, during my recent visit, I decided to have different kind of meals due  to the hot weather and had enjoyed Ito dishes (other than Ramen). Overall, the dishes were authentic, fresh and tasty. Highly recommended.

I went to share 3 dishes with my girlfriend for lunch and we enjoyed the ambience very much despites the busy lunch crowds:

  • Gyozas (AU$8.50) – pan fried pork dumplings
Japanese Pork Dumpling (aka Gyozas)

  • Soft Shell Crab Sushis (AU$13.50)

  • Tori Don (AU$10.50) – Grilled Teriyaki Chicken on Rice (I love the char grilled taste of the chicken pieces)
