Red Dog (an Australian Kelpie) - the main actor in the Red Dog movie. He seems calm and collected despite lots of screaming fans
Sorry for the lack of postings lately, I have been busy travelling overseas for work and life in
general has been very busy.
I am a huge fan and supporter of the Melbourne International Film Festival. This year, due to my
work travelling commitments, I have managed to watch just a few movies.
- The Innkeeper (horror) by Ti West. Braving the Melbourne cold and rain on Monday evening (21:30), I went to watch a horror movie at ACMI (The Australian Center of Moving Image) Federation Square. The Innkeper is one of the many movies on offer at the 2011 Melbourne International Film Festival. I quite enjoyed it. We had a chance to attend the questions and answers session after the movie with The Innkeeper director Ti West which gave us a much better appreciation for the making of the movie and the reasoning behind certain aspects of it.
- Red Dog - I am very much a dog person and the movie Red Dog is a story about a legendary dog named Red Dog who became a town icon in 1970. It follows his relationship with this outback town of Western Australia. The main actor, an Australian Kelpie was in attendance so I was able to snap a picture of him
.
This week I happened to also witness the biggest rainbows I have ever seen. Thought I’d share some photos with all of you
. I even managed to see a double rainbow
